Last Pedestrian Sunday

November 24, 2014

The last Sunday of October I did some poetry busking at Pedestrian Sunday. Probably my last outdoor busking for the rest of the year (note the gloves in the photos below). I busked over 20 poems. It was amazing, cold and windy but amazing. I’m sad to be ending my outdoor busking adventures. Although I like busking at fairs and shows there’s something special about doing it on the street, very visceral and immediate. It takes a certain person to approach a stranger with a typewriter. Thanks to all who popped by and a special thank you to Ella and her friends for being my young helpers, cutting paper, buying me scissors and being over all cool people.
