From the Root — Extended the Deadline
This is becoming some what of a pattern. For those who do not know, I am the editor of a nationwide distributed zine called FROM THE ROOT and we’re into our second issue — BODY. We’ve just extended our deadline so if you missed out, never fear. The new deadline is JANUARY 5, 2015, giving you plenty of time to submit written or visual art on the body.
We’re looking for unique perspectives and experiences from women of colour understanding, exploring, protecting, glorifying and coming to terms with their racialized bodies. This can manifest in boundless ways. Check out the initial call out for some ideas we’re interested in.
