From the Root Zine @ Toronto Queer Zine Fair

September 21, 2014

Frenchie’s at it again, this time bringing the From the Root Zine in full force. First with tabling goodness as usual alongside some funky fresh poetrybusking AND I’ve been honoured to do a reading, sharing works from the FTR too! Double duty which is awesome and exciting, although last year was great too. The event is PWYC, it was super dope last year and plus the folks from TQZF make an extra effort to create a an accessible space. I’m super stoked to have selected pages of From the Root being translated by ASL interpreter.

So Saturday October 4th join me at the Steelworkers Hall and vibe out at the Toronto Queer Zine Fair. Festivities begin at 11am until 5pm then the Reading is at 9pm. Should be dope.

In other news, Nuit Blanche is the same night. Arguably (but not so arguably) the most profitable poetrybusking nights of my 2013. It’s gonna be tight doing a full day TQZFing and then a full evening busking at NB but we’ll see how it goes. If you weren’t around for last year’s experience, check out the pieces and the post-tramatic rant here on my tumblr.

See you then!
