NERD MOMENT: Nintendo Cookies

August 6, 2013

Long ago, a young woman journeyed to make magical treats for her friends. Her name: Whitney, her quest: achieved. She invited her pals to come over and play video games and one-by-one they gobbled up her Nintendo cookies with glee. Soon, after hours of button-mashing and sugar ingesting, the friends departed to their homes and our young heroine rested with a smile on her face and icing on her lips.

My girlfriend and I once made a two layered cake featuring Overworld and Underworld from the Mario franchise, the iconic “finish flag” and all. To be honest, it didn’t taste as good as it looked. But Nintendo themed snacks are always a hysterical endeavor.

OMG! I read this from my phone on the bus and I laughed so hard. Especially about the part with it not tasting as good as it looked. Do you got any photos of it Aaron?

Hysterical indeed! Thanks for visiting the blog!

Sadly, I don’t. But it certainly wasn’t a one time occurrence. I’ll be sure to share a photo with you soon, once we find a better recipe :) !

      Thanks Sweet Marie!

Awesome, creative and tasty. My friends and roommates ate up all the cookies quickly :)
