3 Cities at Toronto Women’s Bookstore

June 14, 2012

3 Cities has found a home in yet another great independent bookstore, Toronto Women’s Bookstore. TWB is all about empowering female voices through literature, supporting feminist authors and addressing women issues by writers of colour, Native, lesbian, queer, disable and other marginalized females. When I walk in, I’m consumed by eye-tantalizing titles that delve into anti-racism, health, pregnancy, counter-culture and revolutionary thought, queer theory and transgendered issues.

They don’t just sell books (although books are my item of choice) they sell chapbooks, literary journals, t-shirts, posters, buttons and pins, plus they have an INTENSE magazines selection. At the back of the store, theres a cafe where TWB sells fair trade teas and coffee.

A big thank you to my new friends at the Toronto Women’s Bookstore. Grab your copy of 3 Cities there today. It’s located at 73 Harbord Street, right on the corner of Spadina.

3 Cities had also be purchased at these fine book retailers:

Accents Bookstore: 1790 Eglinton Street West (corner of Dufferin)
A Different Booklist: 746 Bathurst Street (south of Bloor)
